Interface language

PlexusTerm's interface comes in English, Spanish, German, French, Japanese, Portuguese (Brazil), Simplified Chinese, Korean, Arabic and Hindi.

  • Default: the language of the operating system; when it is none of these, English.
  • Choosing one: Settings → Appearance → Language lists System and each language by its own name; Save applies it.
  • Getting back: next to the list, System language and English are never translated and apply and save at once, without Save. If you chose a language you cannot read, open Settings with the gear button and click one of them.
  • Arabic mirrors the interface right to left. Terminals, commands, code and file paths stay left to right, and split panes keep their places, so Split right still opens a pane on the right.
  • Not translated yet: error messages that come from the connection backend (SSH, SFTP, serial, AI providers) are shown in English. Product names, protocol names, shortcuts and the text sent to AI providers are never translated.
